Join Smoky Mountain Skating Academy's Inaugural Ice Show
Smoky Mountain Skating Academy is putting on a Spring Ice Show! This year’s theme is “Frozen In Time”, an ode to the ragtime, flappers, and big band era, featuring upbeat and exciting music that will keep the audience and skaters smiling ear-to-ear.
This show gives skaters the chance to express themselves, expand their skill sets, and push beyond their comfort zones, with the added opportunity to audition for a featured step-out performance.
The ice show will take place on Saturday, April 11th, 2026, with a matinee show at 2:00 pm and an evening show at 6:00pm. General admission seating and on-ice seating ticket options will be available for sale to the public. Show practices will begin February 14th from 12:00-2:00 pm View the ice show practice schedule here.

Participants will be broken into groups based on skating level. These groups will skate in TWO programs. Skaters will learn choreography for each program during show practices to perform in the ice show. Costumes for each of these programs will be provided.
Skaters will experience a small stage built for the ice, spotlights, and curtains!
All participants will skate in a Finale at the end of the show. For this number, skaters are asked to provide their own attire: white dresses for female skaters and black pants with a white button-up shirt for male skaters.
The fee for ice show registration is $225.00. You can make a one-time payment of $225.00 or pay in three monthly installments of $75.00.
Participants must be enrolled as a member of US Figure Skating or Learn to Skate USA. Visit learntoskateusa.com to register for your membership.
